Incubator Shaker
Installation

1. The shaker incubator should arrive assembled. If not, consult the manual or the manufacturer.

Operations

1. Turn off the machine and set all speed controls to minimum to prevent accidental injury.

2. Unlock the lock on the lid with the supp.lied key.

3. Adjust the eccentric motor's stroke if necessary, see manual for details.

4. Open the lid and load the platform evenly. Wear latex gloves while handling glassware in case of shatter.

5. Close and lock the lid. Set power to ON.

6. Set the shaker ON and adjust the speed control until the desired RPM is reached.

7. Set the heater switch ON, and adjust the thermostats. The safety tabs needs to be pressed in while adjusting the temperature. Set the control thermostat to the temperature you want. Please not that the temperature graduations do not necessarily conform to that temperature. Set the safety thermometer for 2 degrees higher. Please wait until the temperature in the incubator stabilizes. See manual if you want to set an incubator temperature greater than 37 degrees Centigrade.

8. When it is desired to remove glassware from the inside of the incubator, simply open the door and remove (while wearing gloves) the desired glassware. A safety switch in the hood.
