The main entrance into the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center basic sciences complex is on the south side of the Thomas Buiding. It is about 3 blocks' walk from either the Silver Cloud Inn or the Residence Inn.
From the Silver Cloud Inn:
Walk southwest (towards the Space Needle) on Fairview Ave. N to
the next intersection (Yale Ave. N). Turn left and walk one block south to the parking lot
entrance. Turn left here and the building entrance will be on your left at the turnaround at the end of
the parking lot. Just inside the door is the security desk -- they can direct you to the Pelton Auditorium.
From the Residence Inn:
Walk northwest (away from the Space Needle) on Fairview Ave. N to
the second intersection (N Ward Street). Bear right on N Ward Street and walk
one block east (toward the freeway) to the parking lot
entrance. Continue straight and the building entrance will be on your left at the turnaround at the end of
the parking lot. Just inside the door is the security desk -- they can direct you to the Pelton Auditorium.
